• 🎯 Ensure a Safe Environment – To provide a physically, emotionally, and psychologically safe space for all children.
• 🧑‍⚖️ Comply with POCSO Act, 2012 – To align with legal obligations under the Indian law for prevention and redressal of child sexual offences.
• 🤝 Foster Trust – To create an atmosphere where children feel comfortable reporting concerns or misconduct.
• 🧠 Educate and Empower – To sensitize staff, students, and parents about child rights, boundaries, and reporting procedures.

🧒 2. Scope of the Policy

• 🏫 Applies to – All students, teaching staff, admin staff, transport staff, support staff, volunteers, and vendors.
• 🧍 Covers – All forms of abuse: physical, emotional, verbal, sexual, neglect, cyberbullying, and inappropriate behavior.
• 🔒 Applies On & Off Campus – Including field trips, school transport, extracurricular activities, and digital platforms.

🧑‍🏫 3. Responsibilities of the School

• 👁️ Monitoring & Supervision – CCTV coverage in key areas; proper teacher-attender presence during breaks, transport, etc.
• 📚 Awareness & Training – Annual orientation for students, staff, and parents on good touch, bad touch, cyber safety, and reporting.
• 👨‍⚖️ POCSO Committee – Establishment of a formal Internal Child Protection Committee (ICPC) including trained staff and external member.
• 👩‍⚕️ Child-Friendly Reporting – Safe, confidential, and non-intimidating reporting mechanisms for children.
